Fall 2025 Trip Report #2

Featured Photo: The Church of Christ in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine Sunday 28 September, 2025!

The Lord’s Day went very well and even though it was cloudy and in the 30’s, it was a delightful day. Our crowd was down some due to travel and illness. Following worship we had a church picnic. Pasha had made a grill out of the scrap from the building’s construction. Look in the photos and see how great it is. The fellowship meal was a great event!

There is a new couple attending—Mykolya & Allah. They are IDPs and had moved into the apartment building where several members life. Tamara took it upon herself to befriend Allah and invited them too worship. They started coming about 3 months ago and have never missed since starting.

Today as we were eating Allah excitedly told me how they had met Tamara and how their friendship had developed. Allah told me, “I never had a Bible in my hand until I was 70 years old and it was Tamara that gave me the Bible!” Tamara was wearing a great big smile! Can you imagine that? It is a wonderful comment on the power of one inviting another!

Perry and I are still jet-lagged. I woke at 2:30 am this morning and never got back to a restful sleep. So hopefully I will enjoy that “sweet sleep” tonight!

Pray for our success in seeing and taking advantage of the “open doors” that are before us!
