Trip report #1–Arrival

Featured Photo: Perry and I arrived and are in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine. Here are two weary travelers being supported by two non-weary travelers!

Perry and I left Montgomery early Wednesday morning and arrived in Ivano-Frankivsk early Friday morning! We are happy to report that all bags arrived with us. After arrival in Warsaw, we had to sit and kill time until our bus left. The bus ride was 11 hours with NO stops! During the long trip we had Starlink com so I was able to keep abreast of events.

Gif met us and we have had great enjoyment discussing the work and possibilities here and up-coming actions!

We enjoyed a good breakfast and spent the day getting settled and catching some quick naps trying to regain the trauma of travel to our body’s time-clock. And then enjoyed a good supper. Thus far correction of the body clock is not going too well but Perry and I do not notice! We do notice that as some are watching our walking and talking their faces communicate concern!

We are planning for a good Sunday and are looking forward to worshipping with the Church. After the worship there will be a Church picnic! Tomorrow, Saturday, we will continue light duty as we move toward a better awareness! 😊

Both Perry and I have had problems all day trying to recall what day of the week it is. I cannot believe it is Friday and Perry has thought it was Saturday all day!

Excuse any typos or unclear sentences–just laugh at them!

Pray for our success in seeing and taking advantage of the “open doors” that are before us!

A very special THANK YOU to the Knob Creek Church of Christ and to Harold & Jean Bridges for donating a large amount of the funds critical to this trip!
