JOHN IS CURRENTLY ON HIS SPRING TRIP TO UKRAINE. PLEASE KEEP HIM IN YOUR PRAYERS.

Update–08/31/2022

Photo: A delivery of a container shipped into Lublin, Poland is unloaded in a location in Ukraine. From this place the commodities will be reloaded into smaller vehicles and transported further into Ukraine where our “runners” will reload into even smaller vehicles and go into critical positions.

A HISTORIC FACT—We have now confirmed and booked our ONE-HUNDREDTH container for Ukraine!

This includes loadings from from March-August! The 100th container will load out of Montgomery, AL on 8 September. It will go by sea to Port Gdynia. It will be unloaded and transferred to multiple locations in Ukraine! This achievement is only possible because countless individuals, congregations, civic groups and schools have pulled together in a wonderful unity! We already have additional shipments scheduled for the coming weeks.

This shipment includes twenty-nine pallets of medical supplies, hospital beds and mattresses, and other furnishings essential to medical care.

Here is Charita’s excitement…

Good morning, John and the rest of this incredible team. First, I would like to congratulate everyone and thank you for the opportunity to work with you. As you can see by this project number, we are shipping out our 100th container since this war started. The Churches of Christ, Dr. Bratslavsky, and Alex Golubenko at HelpFreeUkraine agreed to cover the shipping cost of the Henry Schein medical container.  I have spoken to David at CMD, and he agreed to wait for reimbursement on the delivery of Henry Schein to our Montgomery warehouse. So, we have time to find a sponsor to cover the inland delivery. I have spoken to Andrew, and he might cover this expense. I will try to get this moved as soon as possible; meanwhile, could you please prepare a preliminary inventory of what items we can add to finish up this load?

From the Holly Springs, MS crew comes this good news…

From Holly Springs we sent out a shipment of buckets/bedding on August 9.  We had a generous donation from a brother in Corinth who donated 2,700 new waterproof parkas this past week.  We are going to send a winter clothing shipment from Holly Springs scheduled for the second week of September and hopefully another right after that. We are pushing for winter clothing now as we know most heating infrastructure has been destroyed and it will be quite cold in Ukraine soon. Prayers that both shipments get filled quickly, but with our recent donation, we feel it will be no problem. We’ve been all over the place daily doing pickups and speaking.  Thanks to everyone who are connecting and ensuring provisions. God is working through so many to make it happen – to Him be the glory always!

From Michael Lawson, Lenore City, TN…

The shipment from Bulgaria that the Hardin Valley Church of Christ funded arrived in Kharkiv. Mike received word of the beginning distribution and sent the note and photos. The photos follow Mariia’s note.

Dear Michael, We have already provided to NINETEEN hospitals. SIXTEEN more hospitals will be provided soon. Please find attached the photos. Kind regards,

Mariia

THANK YOU to all involved in this effort to help deliver critical items to those suffering because of evil!
