Featured Photo: Putin’s war in southern Ukraine has suffered severe setbacks this spring/summer. Among the thousands of Ukrainian soldiers on the front lines are many civilians. These people are still living in these areas, and they will never leave their homes. The living conditions are dire. The availability of basic staples is nonexistent. Many receive supplies only from Ukrainian soldiers who transport these precious commodities to those living in the frontline sectors.
From this photo (and those in the slideshow below), you can see the delivery of Family Buckets along with basic commodities.
Our network with the troops has proven to be very effective—it is a mission assured by integrity, care, and concern! Many of the soldiers have grandparents the same age as those they supply.
Rejoice in this Good News from Nigeria!
For many years, I have known brother Aniefiok. We have shipped many containers that have been used to edify the Lord’s Church and help supply the Rhema Christian School. I received this good report from Aniefiok and wanted to share it with you. There is a horrible conflict in Nigeria, and Christians are being persecuted and murdered. Despite this persecution, our brothers and sisters continue steadfastly in their faith and obedience to the Lord!

From: Aniefiok Akpan. Beloved in Christ, Greetings! Please permit me to share with you this exciting news. I was one of the gospel preachers selected and invited to speak at the 72nd Annual Lectureship of the Nigerian Christian Bible College (NCBC), Ukpom Abak. The theme for this year’s lectureship was “Renewing Our Minds for Faithful Christian Living,” and I was assigned to deliver the keynote, “Marriage Reset: Before, During & After,” On the night of Wednesday, August 12, 2026. My entire family, including our foster daughter, Ekemini, and our foster son, Uduak, were there to hear me preach. Thank you for your continued support and prayers. They have helped me grow in faith and in my service in the Lord’s vineyard. Yours & His, Aniefiok & Etang Akpan, Nigeria

Distribution in Ukraine
“Hello John! I am sending you photos from the container distribution. These are the last photos from the front that I have received. It is sadly reported that the hospital in Kramatorsk was partially damaged. But supplies from this container are already on the road to help those wounded in that city. In one of the photos, you will see the electrodes for the electrocardiograph that you shipped. We gave that equipment to the Children’s Hospital. Thanks a lot to all Christians who helped send this container to us! And especially to Gif for his constant help. The peanut butter you shipped was given to ladies for the production of energetic bars. Thanks for your support!” Sergii
“John, I have just talked with General NI. He confirmed that they could get the money from Gif in Ivano-Frankivsk to purchase the food that is desperately needed. They have someone in Ivano-Frankivsk, and the General said that person could get the money and then get it to the General. And from there, it goes to dependable persons who buy and distribute food to those in the front lines. He will for sure get approved photos and reports. As for the container that is coming from Ft. Smith, the General has already talked with different places. “Stability and Security” will be the consignee, but they plan to send most of it to Skole, where we went, where the mayor had planted lavender everywhere. The Chief Doctor in Zhovkva (where the previous containers were sent) would like to get some, and the General said if Skole didn’t work out, then the hospital in Zhovkva will get the items. But it would be great if Skole could get it, as they have chaplains who go to the front line, and they will take stuff to our boys and the civilians. The General is sick but not too bad. He sent you thanks and greetings.” Tetiana
In Summary
We loaded a container out of Ft. Smith, AR, where C.U.R.E. stuffed 850 pieces into a container. We are scheduled to load a container out of Montgomery, AL, on 19 August that will go to Ivano-Frankivsk. This container will be loaded with many items, but a special inventory line item will be the Family Buckets that the Elizabethtown Church of Christ collected!
THANK YOU for your continued support and encouragement as we continue our efforts!
