Trip Report #3–Fellow laborers together!

Today was a good day as we were united with Gif! We had a good, long talk about plans for this trip and the various focal points to be addressed. Gif has faced some difficult situations from members of the Church who had left and then decided they could return and continue as they were. Gif has pointedly told them that returning is possible with biblical repentance, but “stepping back in” is not an option. They sowed (and continue to sow) discord, they caused the Lord’s Church to be scorned, they mismanaged finances (and that is saying what they did very kindly), and supported many false doctrines.

Gif has handled the situation very well and shows maturity and biblical knowledge that few possess and even fewer practice in dealing with “church problem people.”

I arrived early this morning in Ivano-Frankivsk, and it has been a very long day. So this report is short. More to follow!

There are some incredible events to write about, and I will try to work these in as much as possible.

Again, I ask you to remember my trip in prayer with the Apostle’s request in Ephesians 6:19, “and on my behalf, that utterance may be given unto me in opening my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel.”
