Saving the Poor!

“I saved the poor who cried for help, And the orphan who had no helper” (Job 29:12)

Here is a report on the continuing efforts to train the children in orphanages so they will have marketable skills when they are forced to leave the orphanage. This training will enable them to have employment that is needed in their nation.

“Dear all, Inna (the lady who is teaching kids crafts and sewing in Alexandria orphanage) has sent me some more photos. She wanted to show the work that is being done and well, boast a bit about the results ? kids enjoy learning something new and trying to make some cute toys. Elder kids already learnt how to shorten pants the other day. It’s a handy skill, especially in the orphanage where clothes are not always bought for each child personally, so they have to alter the clothes to make them fit the best possible way. In the future it’s already a good skill.

“Little ones mostly use thread and needle and not sewing machines as it’s rather dangerous for them, but little by little Inna lets even little kids try sewing, just under close supervision and many instructions. Couple of days ago it was the first try for that little girl you see on the photo. her name is Lesya, she is only 6 years old, but she really wanted to try!

“Inna says little kids are very curious about crafts, but in the future this means it will be easier for them to get involved in harder projects and make sewing better.

“That’s all for now, hope you can also use the photos! ? “Hugs and kisses, Anya” ?
