Here is a link to a village’s newspaper. I visited this village on Tuesday. The village name is “Pologye.” If you click the link and then use Google translation to change the language from Ukrainian to English you will not read the village’s name but the translation has “fallen.” Tanya says “This is why you cannot trust Google translate!” 🙂

This village is amazing. The hospital has received a number of items from our shipments. It is located on the far parameters of the Zaporozhye Oblast (the further away from the center city the more impoverished is the community and the need is greater). The community is starting to remodel a building that will serve as a satellite health clinic for a nearby settlement with a population of 5,000. They need all furnishings for this clinic, especially chairs and desks. I was asked if it would be possible to ship furniture that is desperately needed for this clinic’s start-up. I replied that I had the commodities in our Judsonia warehouse but shipping costs were prohibitive. Late last night I received an email that informed me that two applications I had submitted months ago have been approved and the US Department of Defense will move these two containers at no cost to us! One of these containers will come to Zaporozhye where we can deliver the clinic’s urgently needed commodities!
