This update focuses on the efforts to provide personal hygiene bags. In January we received an urgent request to ship more of these bags to Ukraine. They will be distributed to those in need. Many of the displaced have now been homeless for two+ years. The initial response to this horrific invasion of a sovereign nation was overwhelming. The Lord\u2019s Church has responded in an amazing way and is recognized as being perhaps delivering more relief aid than any others!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The relief shipments have been amazing as donations of products to ship have flooded into our hands. There are many more donations but the funds to ship have dramatically decreased as the \u201cnews\u201d of the invasion, occupation and carnage has been neglected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In response to the plea for hygiene bags Dalraida received donations that helped us purchase items for bags, others took the 2-gallon zip lock bags and filled them and brought them back to the building. We were joined in our efforts by the Prattville and Wetumpka congregations. Others are in the process of stuffing the bags and those hygiene bags will be sent on future containers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was great to have Emily, Jace and Owen Revels come out to the warehouse and take items out of the packaging so all would fit into the bag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
