The brethren have been working hard to finish the bare essentials for assembly. This was in addition to the constant work of assisting in war relief efforts. Thank God that the work has been completed this far. A large section remains under construction and much is yet to be done, but the Church IS assembling on the premises! The brethren continue working on rooms that will be used to lodge the displaced people who fled Russia’s terror in the east.

Ivan’s Report on the Historic occasion of meeting in a finished room

Greetings, dear brothers and sisters. It has been a cold and windy day today and there’s still snow in the mountains but our hearts have rejoiced and thanked God. We have been cleaning and preparing for the first assembly in the new building. Even though much work remains we have worked to get the minimum completed. On Saturday all of the congregation came and helped clean and prepare for the Lord’s Day. On Sunday the Church worshipped in our new building! This is our great joint success. We send you big thanks for it, for your prayers and financial support. We are very happy! Praise the Lord! God is so gracious to us! We have a tremendous power in Jesus.

Activities still needed for full occupancy

Greetings, dear brothers and sisters. Big thanks to all of you for your prayers and financial support. I apologize for the delay with reports. We had to wait for materials for a long time. Many companies and plants that used to make construction materials have closed down during the war. Besides, prices for gasoline have increased 2 times. We have done all we can to save funds. Chris and others arranged for the AEDS and other supplies to be sent to Montgomery and from there we shipped it into Ukraine. What used to take 7 days took almost a month for delivery. But we are thankful to report that the deliver has been made. Ivan sent an email and photo saying he had passed the 2 defibrillators to Dr. Denys. Ivan reports that the doctor and hospital were very thankful. He added this, “Big thanks to American brothers and sisters for their support!”

Soon after Ivan’s message came this email from Dr Denys:

“Greetings! Last week we were loading containers in many locations. One day we loaded FOUR containers with critically needed commodities. The impact of this enormous efforts is beginning to bear fruit. We are being contacted by various officials and key personalities who have been amazed at the enormity of the work the Lord’s Church has presented. The full extent of these contacts and further opportunities cannot be fully disclosed at this time. Hopefully we will be able to share these and you will be awed at the far-reaching impact the Lord’s Church has had in this evil time.

Thank you for your continued support!

John L.
