A daily activity is the distribution of relief items. The warehouse in Ivano-Frankivsk is getting very low. We hope to ship a container to Ivano-Frankivsk in early November that will have many Family Buckets. We have other commodities to ship to hospitals and relief centers\u2014we just need shipping funds!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the stops we made was to a food distribution center northeast of Ivano-Frankivsk. We loaded two cars with dried foods and canned foods. We arrived at the distribution center and a hardy crew met us to help unload and store the food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was impressed with a young lady named \u201cVeronika.\u201d  She was full of energy and smiles. She said she wanted to help because there were children and grandmothers who were hungry and she wanted to help them. I found out that Veronika had given some of her own food supplies to others because they were hungry. Her parents were there and you could see the pride in their eyes as their daughter was so involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When asked about the bombs and drones, she shrugged and said, \u201cWell people are hungry so we must help them.\u201d The lessons her parents are teaching her about courage, boldness and service will shape this young heart in admirable ways! I thanked her parents for training their daughter so well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
