After a few final urgent business crammed days I am packed and ready to leave Ukraine. <\/p>\n
This trip has been a very successful trip. <\/p>\n
As many read this post I will be sitting in Borispol Airport waiting for the boarding call that will take me from Kyiv, Ukraine to Amsterdam, the Netherlands to Atlanta, GA to Little Rock, AR and finally back to Searcy, AR! (Where I will unpack, overnight, repack and get on the road to Tennessee!). <\/p>\n
Over the last few weeks much good has been accomplished for the Lord. We continue to see significant impact from our efforts. <\/p>\n
We are busily planting and watering and wait confidentially for the Lord to bring the increase! <\/p>\n
As usual on this trip it was so good to be back in the company of beloved brethren. And, as usual on this trip I was introduced to a number of new faces and have opportunities to develop new relationships with those whom I have never met.<\/p>\n
As I leave Ukraine there are a myriad of goodbye greetings and kind wishes. And many are like Sviatslav (in the above photo) either very unhappy or refusing to say goodbye. <\/p>\n
To share in the warmth of Ukraine\u2019s hospitality is always a great delight. To enjoy the faith of our brethren in Ukraine and their commitment to follow the Lord\u2019s pattern of New testament Christianity is always very encouraging.<\/p>\n
As I leave there are a number of greetings that I bring back from the brethren in Ukraine. Here are two of these I want to share with you (the remainder will appear in this trip\u2019s final report).<\/p>\n
Dear brother John, thank you for your missionary work that you have done for many years all over Ukraine! We\u2019re thankful for your support of this congregation at such difficult time, for studies of the Word of God. Special thanks to all those who took part in the retreat. With love, sister Anna<\/p>\n
Dear John! We are thankful that you came to visit us again. We are thankful for this trip to the mountains. We enjoyed classes for children and for adults very much. I did not attend classes for adults but I was in children\u2019s classes and I liked them very much. I would like to ask you to give thanks to those people that taught our classes. I would like for you to give sister Teresa special thanks for everything we did in our classes, for the gifts that she gave us and for her amazing classes. Thank you for everything! From Sofia (9 or 10 years old).<\/p>\n
