JOHN IS CURRENTLY ON HIS SPRING TRIP TO UKRAINE. PLEASE KEEP HIM IN YOUR PRAYERS.

Report #3–May 5, 2017

Still crawling and clawing my way though jet lag…I have arrived in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine! Greeting me late in the night were Ivan, Sveta and Ruslan. It was great to see them as I walked through the hallway at the Ivano-Frankivsk airport last night.

Today has been spent in a number of activities—visiting a therapy/rehab center, visiting with brethren as they were in the advance Bible classes being taught by World Biblical Institute, meeting with the contractor and hearing progress on the building construction, and I was to have had a meeting with a Deputy who is interested in shipping a container of hospital beds into Ivano-Frankivsk. I have also worked on the pre-load documents and booking of two containers that we will load out of Columbus, MS and Neelyville, MO next week. A container that we loaded 28 March out of Columbus, MS was “gated out” and tonight is on the road to Zaporozhye.

John Durham has been here for about 3 weeks and is currently teaching English in two universities in Ivano-Frankivsk. He has been continuing his study of the Epistle to the Ephesians. In the above photo you see John teaching and Anya translating. Anya is the daughter of Ivan and Sveta and graduates high school this year. She plans to enroll in Ivano-Frankivsk Medical Institute next year.

Thank you for your prayers and concerns of safekeeping. Such brought me safely into Ivano-Frankivsk last night!
