Description:

Man has an innate need to worship. God has the power and majesty that demands worship. Throughout the Bible we are told that our worship to God must be exclusively directed to God, carefully guarded to prevent a devotion to selfishness, and intricately conformed to the exact expressions of the ways God told us how to worship Him (Deuteronomy 4:19; 1 Chronicles 16:29; Psalm 2:11; etc.).

This lesson series explores the biblical practice of worship and discusses various expressions of worship that God expects from the corporate assemblies. Our worship can only be meaningful when we follow God s instructions. Worship is an expression of faith and obedience to God. Historically, Satan has tried to corrupt worship because that results in a polluted faith and apostasy from God s Truth. Thus, conflict and confusion have historically surrounded the topic of worship. We can avoid sinning against God in our worshipping assemblies by carefully following God s directions. The lessons presented on this CD offers a clear explanation of what God expects in our worship expressions.
